I'm sorry but...

I really just don't get it. I'm getting something, but whatever it is it's clearly not *it*.

As far as i can see, the Adolf Hitler: ATWI80D series seems to be about seeing what is the minimum effort that can be put into a flash and still have it passed.

AfroUnderscoreStud responds:

Waah

...i can't remember the scores i gave last time

well... i already reviewed the other one, but my two cents on this one... have a replay button, don't loop it.

Oh and when i said you should include sound fx i didn't mean soundtracking the whole animation, only key parts... like the fly past at the beginning, maybe a beep when the needle goes into the red, perhaps a dumb yokel laugh from the fast food guy when it says breakfast is only til 11. meh.

FreakySkull responds:

Thanks for the tips. I'll see what I can do.

my suggestions...

hi... seemed cool to me, but here are my ideas anyway...

1)sound effects. I like the track you used, but how much cooler would it be if you heard the jets of the ship as it tore past?

2) the joke seems a little unexpected... maybe you could have a clock in the corner or a timer running down onboard the ship so it seems like its counting down to something huge(but is of course counting down how long til they stop serving breakfast). You could use it to emphasis that he's only like a second late, then the punchline might not seem quite so random.

cheers

FreakySkull responds:

I have a new voice actor (one of my friends of course) and I'll try to put in some soudeffects. Thanks for the mark!

I am... THE SAVIOUR!!!

You're the saviour! You are one of a number of people who have helped keep this entry in the Portal!

How much do I rock? Huh? Huh?

TangMcGee responds:

Indeed, it must be said, you are a god amongst us mortal men... with the strength of TWELVE boners.

your 1st flash??!?

A bit short, but man was it sweet. It reminded me a lot of samurai jack (a good thing of course) and your production values are great! The only thing i would have prefered (aside from generally more of it) would have been a slightly better designed ninja... atm he's just a little generic. But thats a tiny issue... phew,FIRST flash?

SnafuDave responds:

Yeah he is pretty generic I suspose. Well chibi generic. Thanks a ton for the review man. And like I said in another review I've done animation tests before in class like make a spider walk, spinning logo, and the dreaded lip sync test. But this is my first actual full "animation".

Very Funny!

i like your art style and there were some nice little touches in the animation (like the sun bashing the moon out of the way, the fireman actually grabbing the rungs as he descemds), the punchline is great too.

Nice work.

theanimator27 responds:

thank you!

This flash is crunk

first off there was 10 for sound straight away :)

My girl watched that one with me, apparently you've given her ideas ( for sims i hope, not for real ), so thanks for nothing cps now she wants to turf me off the computer and play her game!

Musey responds:

Why thank you very much kind sir =)

Now i believe is the time to keep the matches out of reach of your girlfriend. ;)

Imagine if this was produced by a studio!

Hi, was just wondering if you are somehow attached to White Wolf... if so then congratulations on a fantastic flash, easily the best to premiere on newgrounds for a long while.

If not then if I could be so bold as to suggest you ditch as many similarities to White Wolf as possible, 'cos imho this has the makings of something that you could market and get rich off of as an independent product.

"Good" *for something on newgrounds* and "Good" *for something on tv* are often 2 very different standards, but the professionality of this flash is jaw-dropping, if i'd just tuned in the telly and seen it I'd still be impressed.

Evil-Dog responds:

No we just wanted to make a movie based in the World of Darkness created by White Wolf, a tribute to their dark world.

I can feel the wind-ah in my hair.

Until they spoke it just looked like a quality sprite-movie, but the voices...lol...the voices.

I liked how you worked their catchphrases into their conversations, that was golden.

TheStarSyndicate responds:

thankskakskks

A nice fun flash

I liked this a lot up until the roadrunner tribute... then i loved it.

A nice shiny 5 for you.

Get-lost responds:

=D haha
Thanks
